- Average price for a fuse board upgrade in a domestic property is £250 providing that the electrical installation is in good order and the main earth bonding is in place (this is where there is a green and yellow 10mm earth cable running from the fuse board to your main water and gas stop cocks). If faults are found or bonding needs doing then a day rate is added. Faults and bonding will be checked during initial free survey so there will be no hidden costs.
